Your child is enrolled on the understanding that:

  • Pupils will be taught by a fully qualified and experienced teacher within a small group.
  • Lessons will be planned to focus on specified learning target or follow a specific exam syllabus.
  • Pupils will be assessed on an ongoing basis and formally assessed on a regular basis
  • Teachers will give you a concise verbal feedback at the end of each lesson. If you need more detailed feedback on occasion, we can arrange for an email or phone call at another time; please appreciate that our teachers have other parents to see and sometimes another lesson to teach.
  • Pupils’ progress and targets can only be discussed with nominated individuals.
  • We will provide a safe and positive environment for them to learn in.
  • We will offer lessons in term-time only but optional lessons will be available during holidays in Spring and Summer time.
  • A week’s written (email or text will do) notice is required when you wish to cease tuition. Please notify centre owner or admin NOT your child’s teacher.
  • Teaching assistants may support teachers in some groups to ensure that pupils receive the support they need.
  • Pupils attend lessons weekly and complete agreed homework to ensure they get the most from their tuition. Regular and punctual attendance gives the best results.
  • Missed lessons must be paid for but catch up lessons will be offered to replace missed lessons; these can be taken as a second lesson in a term time week or as holiday sessions. Only 1 catch up lesson can be taken per holiday.
  • Tuition cannot be provided if lessons are in arrears.
  • Lessons must be paid in advance.
  • A last lesson deposit is taken at the time of enrolment this will remain as a non–refundable deposit but will be used to pay for the last lesson at the end of tuition *from May 2015 onwards.
  • Our lessons are provided in the centre ONLY; our premises are safe, fully insured and provide an optimum learning environment. Please DO NOT put our teachers in an awkward position by asking them to home tutor your child, as this is not a service we provide.
  • We aim to communicate with you with regard to your child’s tuition, please ensure we have up to date contact details for you. Please use the following email address:

  • Homework is an important part of tuition, if you have problems accessing online homework, please let us know asap so that we can adjust it so that it can be completed before the next lesson.
  • If you have problems completing homework let us know; school homework takes precedent and we can adjust the amount your child receives. If your child is preparing for an exam however, poor completion of set homework WILL affect their eventual performance.
  • If you do have a problem with anything at the centre, please do ask to speak with Kelly or Helen who will be able to discuss this with you in private and do their best to resolve any issues.
  • Accounts and administrative issues are dealt with by our Centre Administrator, Helen. She is in the office between 9.30am and 1.30pm Monday to Thursday. We will not share your personal details with any 3rd parties but will store them securely on our internal databases in accordance with GDPR.
